Yeah, I was really surprised by the revelation that Richard is even older than we thoughtl. It looks like Sun is getting the axe this week.

i don’t know who is behind the door but i think that it’s someone the man in black is afraid of…
Maybe the person behind the door is someone from the flashsideways and will be the person who unites the two time frames. this makes it someone who can only be alive in one life, maybe who has died on the island or who has got off previously. this still leaves it to be desmond or walt, but could be absolutely anyone or anything. i dont think whats behind the door can sink the island, because realistically what can sink an entire island?

The Man in Black (Locke) is a Ginnie. Like with all Ginnies he can take the form of smoke or person. Locke (as a Ginnie he is) can grant wishes as he said to Sayid, and others. I think Locke is scared of Charles Widmore . Who knows maybe Lockes Ginnie bottle is whats lock in the Sub room. Its isnt a person thats for sure. Sawyer says What you got in here. Not Who.
HEY … you forgot to mention that the boat Sawyer used to go to the hydra island was the same kind of boat that Sawyer, Juliet, and i think Miles, Charlotte, and Daniel used when they were time skipping remember? ?

You mentioned “the fertility issues on the island”. I thought this was answered last season. The Dharma group women were infertile because they were living above a HYDROGEN BOMB!” The radiation was keeping them infertile. This would explain why Jin and Sun were able to conceive a baby while they were living on the beach – no bomb.

i think possibly the way that the parallel storylines can come together is if in the locked room, the real John Locke, from the time frame where 815 lands. this way there would be some crazy realization and/or everything would come to an end. thats just a crazy guess, probably not true. and i havent watched jacobs yet. but also the only thing that could sink and island, answering mattspurs4, is time. which might mean, that somehow maybe the island became a variable and moved through time?
