When Jack sees Chrisitan of the island, he is changing the battery in a “smoke” detector, maybe some irony? but if he can leave, what is the evil that is being corked in, and why is he trying to get the canidates off?
could this be possible? u theorised that desmond could be the man to take over jacob’s position on the island. so could it be that jack is now highly likely to be the man that takes over the man in black?
I think Sayid was the recruit and it was Desmond who recruited him.
I also think MIB/Smokies is lying when he said he manifested himself as Christian because Smokie cant leave the island yet Jack saw Christian off the island. Smokie seems trapped in Lockes body form when he is not smoke so while locke he is unable to mimic someone else.
ugh this is the last lost recap I’m watching. The fans of Lost sure know how to drain the fun out of the show.

Man if this week’s episode rubbed me in the worst possible way. MIB might as well be a mustache twirling cartoon villain know, hoping he gets more depth to explain his actions instead of just being another final boss to have an explosion fest in the finale with.
Actually I’m putting this out right now my enjoyment of the finale well be determined by how many explosions happen, starting at 100% and taken down 15% with each boom.
Hey mrjames113083 , i was just wondering what you thought about Kate and Patsy Cline , because everytime we hear a Patsy Cline song on Lost its a scene with Kate, and Patsy Cline died in a plane crash.
What if there is more than one Christian Shepherd “entity”. Sometimes we see him in a black suit with his white tennis shoes, and other times in a grey striped dress shirt. Perhaps one is the MIB and the other is a whisper, or something else… And just because MIB says he appeared as Christian, I did’t, that doesn’t mean it’s true. Perhaps he just wants Jack to think that…
